Andrea is a Research Fellow at the Office of Evaluation and Oversight (OVE) since 2019. Before joining OVE, she worked as a consultant for the Unit of Social and Economic Policy Analysis an agency part of Bolivia’s Ministry of Development Planning (UDAPE) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), where she helped writing a report on the public social investment directed to the youth population in Bolivia. Previously, she worked as a Technical Assistant at the Social Policy division inside UDAPE, where she assisted senior economists with data analysis and the design of the Social and Economic Development Plan of Bolivia 2016-2020.
Andrea is interested in using impact evaluations and systematic reviews of social programs to inform policy. In that framework, she has previously researched topics of gender and health behavior change. Andrea holds an MSc in Social Policy and Social Research from the University College London (UCL), a master’s degree in Development Cooperation from the University Jaume I in Spain, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University Mayor de San Simón.in Bolivia.
