MICI-BO-2014-079 – La Paz Storm Drainage Program (Bolivia) – Panel Conformation and Start of Investigation

Ione Novoa, a Brazilian citizen, and Helen Russell, a British citizen, are the specialists selected from the MICI Roster of Experts to assist in the investigation of the Request MICI-BO-2014-079 regarding the IDB-financed operation "Storm Drainage in the Municipalities of La Paz and El Alto"(BO-L1028). Both specialists are members of the Panel led by Arantxa Villanueva, MICI Compliance Review Phase Coordinator.

This selection initiates the investigation, to be carried out in accordance with the Terms of Reference approved by the IDB Executive Board of Directors on December 6, 2016. This investigation will have a duration of 3 calendar months, beginning on February 1, 2017. A draft report is expected to be shared among Management and the Requester by the first week of May of this year, in order to obtain their written comments. Taking these into account, the MICI will prepare a Final Report that is expected to be submitted to the Board for consideration in the second half of 2017. Following this consideration, the report will be disclosed through the Public Registry, accompanied by the Board's decision regarding the findings.
