The deadline for proposals is April 27 The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) launched a call for proposals in an effort to identify 10 of the most inspiring and creative initiatives that address the challenges of the Latin American and Caribbean communities located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The Improving Lives grant competition, organized by the IDB’s program of community relations, offers 10 grants of up to US$25,000.00 each to non-profit organizations that are implementing these initiatives.

The deadline for accepting proposals is April 26th, 2017 The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) launched the 2017 Call for Proposals of the Initiative for the Promotion of Regional Public Goods in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), which supports projects aimed at resolving shared challenges and seizing opportunities for development through regional cooperation among at least three countries. Since 2004, the RPG Initiative has financed 140 projects, investing a total of more than US$103 million.

Building off decades of partnership, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) formalized a new agreement, which amends a previous arrangement, that will include the United States dollar as the official currency for JICA loans.
