The Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) met in Washington DC today to discuss a report on the strategic vision and future financing of the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF). The IDB and IIC Governors requested the preparation of this report during their Annual Meeting held in March in The Bahamas. France’s AFD, IDB’s FOMIN fund project to boost Haitian coffee production

IIC receives strong financial support from IDB

On October 28, 2010, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) signed an amendment to the lending operation whereby the IIC was granted special pricing and the extension to the disbursement period of the $300 million Multisector Credit Program until November 20, 2015, was officially disclosed. The IIC has used $100 million under the facility, which was approved in 1996. Amounts used under the facility mature 15 years after disbursement.
