PRESS ADVISORY - Inter-American Development Bank President Enrique V. Iglesias will offer a press conference at 12 noon on Thursday, March 4, to present the Bank's Annual Report 1998, at Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C., at 1300 New York Ave. N.W.

The event will be held in the Andrés Bello Auditorium on the 9th floor and will be followed by a luncheon for the press.

The report details the activities of the IDB during 1998 and provides an overview of economic conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean. Both the report and the press conference are subject to a news embargo until 900GMT Monday, March 15, when the annual meeting of the Bank's Board of Governors opens in Paris, France.
