Demand Solutions will feature presentations by top international experts on the sharing economy, entrepreneurship, gamification for social innovation, 3D printing as a development tool and other topics, as well as the opportunity to learn about 16 young Latin Americans who have come up with disruptive ideas for solving pressing development issues in Latin America – and around the world.
Meet the young entrepreneur from Argentina who developed an online educational platform that allows anyone with an internet connection to learn the skills that will be most in demand in the future; the young woman engineer from Uruguay who invented a chip to monitor the health of the country’s all-important cattle herds; the Brazilian man who developed an app that allows people with disabilities to speak; and many more.
The day-long event, free and open to the public will conclude with Venture Night, where 16 of the most innovative and disruptive startups from Latin America will pitch their ideas to receive feedback and support from experts and potential investors. Register here.
