Country: Honduras

Current Status: Closed

The Request alleges economic damages to Requesters that would have arised from the expropriation process of an area of their property that has been used for the construction of a beltway-road pass as part of the Project.
The Requesters claim that although the road has already been inaugurated and is currently in use, at the moment they have not received compensation allowances for the value of their expropriated lands.
On March 10, 2017, the MICI notified the Requesters that their Request was not registered as one of the exclusions set out in the MICI Policy took place, in particular the paragraph 19 (f), which states that neither the Consultation Phase nor the Compliance Phase will be applied if the Request is filed more than 24 months after the last disbursement of the relevant Bank Financed Operation.
