The Acre Sustainable Development Program (PDSA-II)- Request II
Country: Brazil
Reception date: September, 10 2020
Current Status: Closed
Requesters:
Confidential
The Requesters warn of potential damage to their living conditions and property, as they allege that, irregularly, without prior information and without having received corresponding compensation, the Program is being implemented in an area that would belong to them. This claim is linked to the Request MICI-BID-BR-2020-0154
On November 30, 2020, MICI determined that the Request was not eligible as it didn’t meet one of the eligibility criteria established in paragraph 22 of the MICI-IDB Policy. Specifically, criterion 22 (e) was not met, since exclusions 19(d) and 19(f) both apply to the Request. With regard to the former, the specific issues or matters raised in the Request are currently under active judicial review. With regard to the latter, the Mechanism finds that the allegations made in the Request exclusively address aspects associated with the activities of the “Acre Sustainable Development Program” (BR-0313), whose final disbursement was made in June 2010. Therefore, more than 24 months had elapsed between the final disbursement and the MICI’s receipt of the complaint.
This determination of eligibility is not an assessment of the merits of the Request or the issues presented in it.
After notifying Requesters and Management the processing was concluded.
On September 16, 2020, MICI notified the Requesters and Bank Management of the registration of the Request.
