Strategic Program for Transportation Infrastructure and Logistics in Paraná
Country: Brazil
Reception date: September, 4 2018
Current Status: Closed
Requesters:
96 residentes de Bairro Riozinho, Engenheiro Gutiérrez, Irati en Paraná, Brasil.
The Request describes impacts on the quality of life of the Requesters linked to the construction of the viaduct (interseção em dois níveis) of the São Mateus do Sul bridge that is part of the Program. Specifically, the Requesters allege that the construction of the route reduced access to the communities where the Requesters live. Also, they highlight an increase in traffic, which would have affected their daily activities. Finally, they report a lack of consultation processes with the affected communities and a lack of information available on the Program.
On September 11, MICI terminated the administrative process of the Request for the Requesters to establish initial contact with the Project Team and seek to respond to their concerns with them as a first instance. The Requesters were informed about the possibility of resubmitting their Request if they consider that their concerns have not been addressed within a reasonable period of time.
