Since the 1990s, the income of workers in Latin America and the Caribbean has increased. However, we remain one of the most unequal regions in the world; and this reality limits the development and growth of our countries. In this eighth issue of the series The future of work in Latin America and the Caribbean, we analyze the trend of inequality in labor income and the potential impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the income of workers, based on a prospective analysis for 10 countries in the region.
