Connectivity infrastructure is at the forefront of the fourth industrial revolution and holds the potential to increase productivity, stimulate economic growth, and foster social inclusion. Studies reveal that half of the LAC region still lacks connectivity, while the other half faces connection of insufficient quality. To address this, CMF is working to design innovative financing solutions for digital connectivity infrastructure while supporting the strengthening of the policy and regulatory frameworks required to incentivize these investments and promote the digital transformation of the region.
