What is Civil Society for Innovative Solutions?

The Vice Presidency for Countries (VPC) with support from the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), members of the IDB Group, and the platform NEXSO is seeking innovative solutions that contribute to solving development challenges in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Civil Society Program for Innovative Solutions (CSIS), led by the Vice Presidency for Countries, is an online contest designed to identify and connect with the Bank and others, the work being undertaken by civil society. The aim is to meet organizations implementing or proposing innovative solutions regarding development challenges in Latin America and the Caribbean identified by the Bank.

Who can participate?

Those organizations eligible to apply must belong to the Civil Society of one or more of the member countries of the IDB Group and its projects must respond with innovative solutions to the challenges that will be proposed. These solutions have to be applied in Latin America and the Caribbean.
