Since 2000, the Bank has held Annual IDB – Civil Society Meetings in Latin American and Caribbean countries, devoted to dialogue with civil society organizations in the region and in other countries such as the United States and Europe. At these meetings, Bank staff deal with issues of interest to civil society and address their questions and concerns, while receiving their comments and suggestions on how to improve performance in the region.
