General Manager, Human Resources Department
Claudia Bock-Valotta, a dual Austrian and Argentine citizen, is the General Manager of the Human Resources Department.
Mrs. Bock-Valotta has more than 20 years of experience in international organizations, strategy, and management consulting. Prior to joining the Bank, she was the Head of Currency Management at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt. From 2005 to 2010, she headed the Budget, Controlling and Organization Division, and worked on strategic planning, organizational development, human resources programs and policies, change management, as well as performance management.
Prior to the ECB, she worked for Arthur D. Little-Cambridge Consultants in Wiesbaden, Germany, directing projects in Europe and the Americas related to human resources, organizational development, cultural diversity, process re-design, and employee development, among others.
Ms. Bock-Valotta is an attorney by training. She graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of Basel, Switzerland.
