Venezuela to improve drinking water service quality with IDB support
The Inter-American Development Bank has approved a $50 million loan to promote the efficient use of drinking water in Venezuela to improve quality and enhance service coverage.

DINEPA, the Haitian government’s water and sanitation authority asked IDB to find several granulated chlorine and ship it to Port-au-Prince to disinfect drinking water for survivors.

IDB reaches record approvals, disbursements in 2009
