How can innovation help reduce poverty? How can technology achieve inclusion of excluded groups? How can we make sure that the poor can take advantage of technological development? These are questions we try to answer in Innovation Lab.

The IADB's Science and Technology Division has created a range of pilot projects that use technology and innovation for social and economic inclusion. This website will showcase current and past projects while also providing a platform for participation in the new ones.

The Division's latest initiative, A World of Solutions: Innovations for People with Disabilities was launched on May 7, 2009. The project includes a call for proposals and an interactive competition of problems and solutions. This page will provide interested parties with the necessary information to participate in the competitions and the interactive website.
