Reproductive Health
Reproductive health has been a priority area for the Gender Equality in Development Unit since 1998. Consultations with the countries on health sector reform and reproductive health, inter-agency collaboration on maternal mortality reduction, technical notes to guide operations, publications, pilot projects and advocacy are some of the activities undertaken to support governments in the region to meet their ICPD (International Conference on Population and Development) commitments and goals.
