Over the past 25 years, the Bank has approved app. US$10 million in technical assistance to disability inclusive development projects. The graph shows the sector distribution of technical cooperations active in January 2007. The distribution is as follows: Capacity Building of DPOs 5% Disability Statistics 13% Education 9% Labour Market Participation 19% Private Sector Development 8% Reform and Modernization of the State 5% Social Investment 41%

The Disability and Development Team is currently undertaking a major review of the status of disability inclusive education and labour market projects from 1990 onwards. The results will posted online on this site in the format of a technical brief.
