This evaluation was commissioned by the Social Program Division, Sustainable Development Department (SOC/SDS) of the Inter-American Development Bank. It seeks to assess the achievements and limitations of the pilot phase of the Social Policy Dialogue project, and to make suggestions and recommendations for a second phase, both in terms of the work done in the three cases where the project was conducted (Guatemala, Ecuador, and Dominican Republic), and in possible new ones.
