These report presents an overview of the contributions the IDB has made to the microenterprise sector, outlining success cases and highlighting some of the important lessons learned during the latest years. They provide the reader with a sense of the accomplishments of the IDB, but also with a general understanding of the context in which IDB support has taken place. Finally, they serve as a blueprint for further action in the donor community, identifying recent trends and innovations and indicating some of the IDB's priorities for the coming years.
