This publication provides a brief sumary of a number of experiences in support of microenterprise development in which the Inter-American Development Bank has played a role as catalyst. The intent was to document the results obtained, particulary in terms of institutional evolution, with a special effort to identify elements having the potencial to be of benefit to those involved in the field of microenteprise development, wheter as donors, intermediary institutions or microenterpreneurs.
This second of documentes cases is a to document other rich experiences of support provided to the sector. It is hoped that such experiences will contribute to a greater awareness in our region of the latest methodologies, institutional performance, and other parameters of an extremely dynamic fiels in which innovation is key to achieving sustainable delivery of effective financial and non-financial services in support of microenterprise development.
