This seminar, organised by the IDB and Fundación GRADE (Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo), took place in Lima on the 18th and 19th July 2002. The first day of the seminar was open to the public and presented an overview of the current situation of labor markets in the Andean Region and, more specifically, in Peru. The second day consisted of a technical meeting with representatives of the governments in the region, the business sectors and labor unions, as well as international experts.
