On June 28, 1999, the Inter-American Development Bank held a roundtable on Latin American Forest Policy. The objectives of the roundtable were to explore: a) policy options, b) strategic initiatives and c) possible actions with which the Inter-American Development Bank could contribute to sustainable forestry in Latin America and the Caribbean.
