PROLEAD, a committed actor in the process of promoting women?s leadership in the region, is now in its second year of implementation. Building upon ongoing efforts by women?s organizations in the region, PROLEAD has been a partner in strengthening women?s participation and leadership skills, providing visibility and legitimacy to the issue of women?s leadership, encouraging greater networking among women leaders and pushing for increased gender equity in the region.
