PROLEAD hosted its first three-day Institutional Capacity Building Workshop in Jurica, Mexico, from May 18-21, 1999. Representatives from 37 organizations in fourteen countries of the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico attended the workshop. PROLEAD targeted principally organizations whose project proposals had not been selected in the 1998 funding cycle.
