Cecilia Loria
President of the National Institute of Social Development (INDESOL), Mexico; joined the Council as president of the organization "For a Feminist Millenium"

Ms. Loria is a psychologist, psychoanalyst and feminist. She founded the Grupo Educación Popular con Mujeres (GEM) in Mexico; the Consultative Council of the Women?s National Program; the National Assembly of Women; the NGO Coordination Towards Beijing 95-IV World Conference for Women; the coordination of the First National Gathering of Citizen Organizations (ENOC); and the political grouping Nacional Causa Ciudadana. She publishes a weekly article in the newspaper El Universal.
