The Bank’s Commitment

The Inter-American Development Bank contributes to poverty reduction in Latin America and the Caribbean through its portfolio of projects and technical assistance in many areas. The IDB also contributes directly or indirectly to poverty reduction in the region through its non-lending activities, such as research, improving the quality of information, and training programs.
