The gender training manual is designed to guide facilitators in the preparation and implementation of training workshops, using the methodology prepared by the Women in Development (SDS/WID) of the IDB. It emphasizes the incorporation of a gender focus throughout the IDB's project cycle, including gender-sensitive stakeholder analysis, definition of objectives and activities, and indicators for monitoring and evaluation. The Manual is currently only available in Spanish, and the English version is forthcoming in 2004. Both the Manual and a CD-Rom that contains additional support materials can be obtained by contacting sds/wid@iadb.org.
