The Inter-American Development Bank, in collaboration with the National Commission on Disability, organised a workshop to Strengthen Evidence-based Advocacy on Disability in Guyana on June 18-20, 2007. The objective was to build capacity in local Disabled People's Organisations to better advocate for the full inclusion of disability concerns into local, national, and international development processes. The workshop was developed with basis in a previous exploratory meeting held on April 13, 2007. Read more in the minutes above.
