Welcome to RedSalud!
What is RedSalud?
RedSalud is a virtual forum aimed at facilitating the exchange of information and experiences in health promotion and disease and injury prevention in Latin America and the Caribbean. This virtual network is part of the initiative "Vida Sana es Más Vida", which seeks to strengthen Public Health in the Region, promoted by the IDB with support from PAHO.
Who can participate?
Any individual concerned about his own health or that of his family and community, can be part of RedSalud. There is also a special interest in the participation of key people in the political, technical and academic world, who are involved in health promotion and disease and injury prevention at the local, regional and national levels.
What kind of information can be sent?
In this space you can:
- Announce events;
- Exchange ideas and information;
- Request references from your colleagues (referrals to experts and consultants, sources of information, etc.);
- Share experiences.
How does RedSalud work?

To subscribe send an email with the following information:
In the space "To" write: listserv@iadb.org
In the space "Subject" write: "subscribe RedSalud (your) email"
Example: To: listserv@iadb.org
Subject: Subscribe RedSalud maryperez@hotmail.com - To unsubscribe send an email to the same address, but write the word "unsubscribe" in the subject space. Example: To: listserv@iadb.org
- To send emails to the network, send them to the email address: redsalud@iadb.org. All the members will automatically receive any message sent to "RedSalud".
- If you receive a message from RedSalud and you wish to answer just to the sender, choose the function "Reply". However, if you wish to answer to all the members of RedSalud choose "Reply to All".
