Regional Training Courses

Regional training courses, in Argentina, Mexico and Peru:

·         The 11th Regional Course of the MECOVI Program, ?Household Surveys, Focalization alternatives and Poverty Maps? co-organized by the ?Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática? (INEI) will be held in Lima, Peru on Abril 19-30, 2004.

Previous Courses:

·         The 10th Regional Course of the MECOVI Program, ?Household Surveys, Focalization alternatives and Poverty Maps? co-organized by the ?Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática? (INEI) was held in Lima, Peru on October 20-31, 2003.

·         The 9th Regional Course of the MECOVI Program, "Design, Implementation and Analysis of the surveys on Living Conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean" co-organized by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (INDEC) was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on May 5-23, 2003.

·         The 8^th Regional Course of the MECOVI Program, "Design, Implementation and Analysis of the surveys on Living Conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean" co-organized by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografia e Informatica (INEGI) took place in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on August 26 to September 13, 2002.

·         The 7^th Regional Course of the MECOVI Program, "Design, Implementation and Analysis of the surveys on Living Conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean" co-organized by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (INDEC) was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 8-26, 2002.

·         The 6^th Regional Course of the MECOVI Program, "Design, Implementation and Analysis of the surveys on Living Conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean" was co-organized by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (INEGI) and was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on September 3-21, 2001.

·         The 1^st Sub-Regional Training Course of the MECOVI Program "Analysis of Census and Survey Data for Social Policy and Poverty Reduction Strategy Development in the Caribbean" was organized in cooperation with the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and the World Bank Institute (WBI) in St. Lucia on May 14-25, 2001.

·         The 5^th Regional Training Course of the MECOVI was co-organized by Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (INDEC) and was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 16- May 4, 2001.

·         The 4^th Regional Course of the MECOVI Program was co-organized by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (INEGI) and was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on September 4 to 22, 2000. 

·         The 3^rd Regional Training Course of the MECOVI Program, was co-organized by Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (INDEC) and was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March 27- April 14, 2000.  

·         The 2^nd Regional Course of the MECOVI Program was co-organized by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (INEGI) and was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on August 30-September 15, 1999.

·         The 1^st Regional Course of the MECOVI Program was co-organized by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (INEGI) and was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on March 1-17, 1999.
