- Development Gateway The Development Gateway is an interactive portal that facilitates access to knowledge on development and poverty reduction. Its core objectives are to reduce poverty and support sustainable development through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT).
- Economic Commission for Latin America and the Carribean (ECLAC)
ECLAC, which is headquartered in Santiago, Chile, is one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations. It was founded for the purposes of contributing to the economic development of Latin America, coordinating actions directed towards this end, and reinforcing economic relationships among the countries and with the other nations of the world. The promotion of the region's social development was later included among its primary objectives.
- Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations was founded in 1945 with a mandate to raise levels of nutrition and standards of living, to improve agricultural productivity, and to better the condition of rural populations. Inter-American Agency for Cooperation and Development (IACD) As part of the ongoing process of modernization of the Organization of American States, the Inter-American Agency for Cooperation and Development (IACD) was established at the beginning of 2000 to promote new and more effective forms of cooperation.

- Organization of American States The Organization of American States (OAS) brings together the countries of the Western Hemisphere to strengthen cooperation and advance common interests.
- United Nations The purposes of the United Nations are to maintain international peace and security; to develop friendly relations among nations; to cooperate in solving international economic, social, cultural and humanitarian problems and in promoting respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms; and to be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations in attaining these ends.
