Workshop on Strategies for Integrated Water Resources Management in Latin America and the Caribbean

This report summarizes the results of the two-day Consultation Workshop on Strategies for Integrated Water Resources Management in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) financed through a Bank technical cooperation (ATN/SF-5194-RG). The Workshop was held in San José, Costa Rica, on May 6-7, 1996, in conjunction with the Conference on Water Resources Assessment and Management Strategies in Latin America and the Caribbean sponsored by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the Inter-American Development Bank. The Workshop is part of a multi-step action plan developed by the Bank to prepare its strategy for integrated water resources management in Latin America and the Caribbean.
