The IDB has more than 30 researchers producing working papers on economic and social topics. Many of these documents constitute background research for the annual Economic and Social Progress Report (IPES), the bank’s main research publication. In addition, we also finance and mentor studies conducted by other institutions in order to build research capacity and knowledge in the region.
