The IDB Group uses loans, grants, guarantees and investments to fund development programs.
HA-L1046 : Second Transport Infrastructure Rehabilitation Program
| Project Description: The proposed overall program includes financing for: (i) finalizing works started with Loans 991/SF-HA and 1638/SF-HA; (ii) the rehabilitation of 190 km of main roads; (iii) the rehabilitation of Port-au-Prince airport runway; (iv) the rehabilitation of Port-au-Prince port piers; (v) dredging the Port-au-Prince port access canal; (vi) improvement of urban streets in Port-au-Prince; (vii) improvement of 100km of secondary roads; and (viii) institutional support to MTPTC for planning and road maintenance. The overall program also includes studies and supervision and will be implemented between 2010 and 2016. The USD 190 million Bank financing will be granted in five yearly segments to be approved in 2010-2014. The program will benefit from a USD 40 million co-financing for a total of USD 230 million. |
