| Project Description: The objective of the technical cooperation (TC) is to provide an evaluation of the potential for implementing a high-speed rail service between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo considering stops and/or connections with Guarulhos and Galeao international airports and in the cities of São José dos Campos, Taubaté, Resende, Volta Redonda and Jundiaí in the extension to Campinas. The study contemplates the introduction of a modern rail service utilizing the latest equipment and technology to provide a very high quality of service. |
