BR-L1259 : Goiania Municipality Transportation Programa
| Project Description: The Program will act upon the urban fabric in Goiania through focalized integral mass transit interventions. The new mass transit system will comprise four structural axes with segregated bus lanes for most of their extension, thus constituting a network of medium and high capacity corridors operated with articulated and bi-articulated buses. The development of a complementary network of corridors with some priorities for bus circulation will also be considered. The network of bus stations and transfer stations will also be reformulated: new stations will be built, others will be expanded, while others will be completely eliminated. The use of smart cards, currently with minor participation, will be further promoted to achieve more complete service and fare integration. Route superposition will be eliminated, differential fares will apply, and there will be an institutional strengthening component. |
