The Multilateral Investment Fund (FOMIN) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) organizes once again the Inter-American Conference on CSR. In this sixth edition, which will be celebrated in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, ANDI is our local partner.
This year’s conference is focused on Inclusive Business. These are corporate initiatives that benefit companies and generate social and economic value by integrating low-income populations in their productive activities. The inclusive business contributes by building mutually beneficial commercial relationships (such as associates, suppliers of goods and services or distributers) with low-income people living in vulnerable situations.
The following topics will be discussed:
- Poverty solutions through business innovation
- Provision and access to basic products and services for the BoP market
- Management tools and social entrepreneurship models as well as Results and Strategy Communications
- Challenges and opportunities from several economic sector standpoints
