Hours
The Law Library is opened from Monday
to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is located on
the 8th floor Room W-851.
Loan Periods Are
- Books - two weeks, renewable unless
requested by another reader.
- References Books - some may be
borrowed for one day; some must be used in the Law Library.
- Periodicals - cannot be checked
out.
Inter-Library Loans
The Law Library participates in an
interlibrary loan system that allows us to borrow books and journals
from other libraries in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and
throughout the United States.
Visitor Policy
The Law Library welcomes
researchers
in the DC area on an appointment basis only. Visitors must
register with the Law Library Staff well in advance of their desired
visit by calling 202 623-2164. Library materials may be used
on-site only. No books are lent unless you bring an
inter-library loan request from a participating institution in the
interlibrary loan system.
