The Government of El Salvador will issue US$800 million in bonds in the international markets. The president of the Central bank, Carlos Acevedo, explained that the issuance will be held in October and that the interest rate will oscillate between 7% and 8%, with a maturity of up to 10 years. Also there will be a later issuance of US$650 million. The issuances will give liquidity to the public finances and will be invested in productive and social projects.
