The main objective of this training is to contribute to building the local capacity needed for the development of procedures, coordination, management, monitoring and feedback in the application of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIAs). What does the IDB's Environmental Impact Assessment Course Cover? This course will cover the different elements in the application of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). These include the benefits and consequences of an EIA, the necessary steps and methodologies used in identifying whether an EIA is required, as well as critical attributes of a successful EIA.
