Transforming good intentions into actions: The Natural Disasters Network in the Andes | A subregional meeting of the Andean countries of the Natural Disasters Network was held on October 25th, in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and its central theme was “Transforming Good Intentions into Concrete Actions”. The meeting took place one day prior to the VII Ordinary Meeting of the Andean Comitee for Disaster's Prevention and Attention (CAPRADE, in Spanish). As a result, many public officials responsible for various elements of disaster risk management (DRM) attended this subregional meeting.
