Education Network – Promoting a Community of Knowledge and Practice |
Through Regional and Sub-regional Meetings, the Education Network gives its members the opportunity to discuss priority education policies and initiatives by exchanging ideas and best practices, analyzing common problems, and exploring findings and research on education policy worldwide. The Education Network's members are Permanent Secretaries/Viceministers of Education or high-ranking education decision makers, responsible for the policy design and administration of the education systems of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The event promoted an analysis on how in-service training has been reflected in the Latin American and the Caribbean education policy, and at the same time conducted a fruitful discussion to improve knowledge on the theme and guide future in-service training policy initiatives. The meeting reviewed in-service training in a global perspective - including information about best practices and successful programs from both developing and developed countries - with focus on the challenges faced by education policymakers, teachers, and students. » More Info |
