The Regional Policy Dialogue, through its Networks, provides the opportunity to discuss policies and initiatives by exchanging ideas and best practices, analyzing common problems, and exploring findings and research on policies. The Networks are composed by high-ranking policy decision-makers, such as Vice-ministers, who are responsible for policy creation, implementation and execution in Latin America and the Caribbean. As of today, 63 hemispheric and 36 sub-regional meetings have been held throughout Latin America and Washington, D.C., and the topics for discussion at these meetings have been and will continue to be chosen by the members of the Networks.
The RPD promotes the creation of a pragmatic community of practice that searches for the latest innovative policy alternatives and effective responses in order to improve quality and equip key decision-makers from Latin America and the Caribbean Region.
This year, the RPD is launching a virtual platform to support communities of practice and allow Dialogue members to discuss a variety of topics, share documents, lessons learned and latest news, among others.
