The INTEGRATION AND REGIONAL PROGRAMS
DEPARTMENT is responsible for the preparation and monitoring
of regional programming and the dissemination of information
on integration processes.
- Carries out and monitors regional
programming.
- Analyzes and provides support
for the process of regional and hemispheric integration
and offers guidance as to the Bank's activities and
policies in those areas.
- Manages the regional technical cooperation
program and oversees its execution, ensuring adherence
to the conditions approved.
- Manages the activities of the
Inter-American Institute for Social Development (INDES).
- Takes part in reviews of technical
cooperation programs.
- Supervises the activities of the
Institute for Latin American Integration (INTAL).
- Directs the activities of the
Felipe Herrera Library.
- Manages the Japan Program, including
The East Asia Latin America Customs Best Practices
Program.
- Oversees the Bank's Japan-IDB
Scholarship Program and Regional Scholarship Program.
