Peter Sollis is a senior social development specialist in the IDB regional operations department that includes Central America. Prior to entering the Bank in 1996 he ran his own consulting firm and worked for Oxfam-UK. A citizen of the United Kingdom, he holds a Ph.D. from University College London. Among other responsibilities, Sollis is the team leader for the IDB's Atlantic Coast Local Development Program. He knows the region through long association, having first visited there more than 20 years ago. |
