Objectives
• Share lessons learned in the use of electronic means in government procurement (e-GP) by different countries participating in the symposium to promote:   - Transparency - Efficiency and savings - Regional and local development, competitiveness and incentives to small and medium businesses - Regional integration • Propose specific instruments to provide assistance to Latin American and Caribbean countries in the development and implementation of e-GP systems.
