GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This nonreimbursable technical cooperation will help
strengthen and modernize public and private nonprofit
institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean by
providing training for their personnel.
The program consists of two subprograms: (a) a
subprogram to provide 100 scholarships for studies in
Israel and Spain to professionals and technicians from
institutions recommended by the Bank; and (b) short
courses in the Bank's borrowing member countries to
provide training to about 450 technicians and
professionals.
CONSULTANTS: An individual consultant will be hired for evaluation
of the program. An individual consultant will be
hired to administer the program.
