Anita M. Schwarz, Senior Human Resources Economist, World Bank - Demographic changes: review of demographic trends worldwide, their impact on pension systems, and how the countries are addressing the situation.

Roberto Méndez, Director and President of Adimark Chile and Adimark SA, Argentina - Benefits: since Chilean pension funds have now been in operation for almost 20 years, the quality of the pensions they are providing can begin to be assessed; comparative amounts of pensions for old age, early retirement, disability, and survivors granted in 2000 and average salaries that funded them.
