Registration of participants
Governors, other members of government delegations, observers, and special guests are asked to advise the Secretariat no later than January 25, 2002 that they plan to attend the meeting, by completing and returning the preregistration form provided for this purpose.
The preregistration form must be received by the aforementioned date in order for participants to be able to complete the registration process at the meeting site.
The preregistration form can be found on the annual meetings website (http://www.iadb.org/exr/am/2002/pr) and may be filled out and sent electronically, using the security number that appears on the letter of invitation.
Upon arrival in Fortaleza, Governors and other members of government delegations, observers, and special guests should register at the Secretariat's registration desk located in the entrance hall of the Ceará Convention Center. The desk will operate on the following schedule:
Wednesday, 6 March 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, 7 March 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Friday, 8 March 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, 9 March 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, 10 March 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Monday, 11 March 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
At registration, each participant will be asked to present his or her passport so that an identification badge can be issued which will permit the participant to gain access to the meeting rooms. Invitations to the social events will be issued at this time as well. Brazilian citizens should present their identity cards.
In keeping with the usual practice at international meetings of this kind, the identification badge prepared for each participant will include a photograph. Identification badges should be worn prominently at all times and will be essential to enable participants to gain access to the meeting rooms and other working areas, as well as to the social events.
To expedite registration procedures in Fortaleza, participants are requested, when sending back their preregistration forms, to include a recent photograph of themselves and of any guests who will be accompanying them to the meeting.
Participants who attended the 2001 Annual Meeting in Santiago, Chile, do not need to submit a photograph.
